The CPU of the Siemens PLC system is giving an alarm; there is a low battery voltage in the power supply. I would like to know whether this CPU alarm is caused by the power supply issue Can the battery of the power supply be replaced while it is in use, and how? What is the specific model number?

It’s the backup battery for the program inside the PS power supply module that needs to be replaced; it can be replaced while the system is still running. The battery triggers an alarm when its voltage drops below 2.7VDC, at which point it needs to be replaced. These are probably from the same batch; if you need to replace them, replace them all at once.
