Is card repair reliable?

Recently, a company that specializes in card repair came to exchange ideas. I was wondering if anyone has experience with repairing using card parts? Can the repaired SIS card module be used? It is said that the repair cost should, in principle, not exceed 30% of the original price
Write something for the manager; once the manager signs it, it’s done. But I guess no one would dare to take on such a responsibility. If you want, I’ll replace it with a new one; the manager needs to sign off on the repair, and I won’t take any responsibility.
From the perspective of energy saving and reducing consumption, it’s feasible. Some circuit boards have certain weaknesses in their design; if those weaknesses are addressed and optimized, there’s no problem continuing to use them for some time, especially those that haven’t been in use for very long.
To repair a circuit board, it depends on which part of the circuit is damaged. If it’s the peripheral circuits that are faulty, then of course the chip can be replaced for repair. Those who are able to fix such things are, after all, experts in hardware. . . They are way better than those repairmen at the parts factory. If it can be repaired and still function properly, then it’s reliable; there’s nothing unreliable about that... For those components that cannot be repaired or aren’t worth repairing, experts won’t try to force them to work :lol
Hardware needs to work in conjunction with the appropriate software; without undergoing rigorous tests of both the hardware and software, how can you be sure that the repaired components meet the required standards of quality? Our company once had a SIS DO card that was malfunctioning and gave error messages; it was replaced and sent back to the factory for repair. However, the inspection results showed no problems with it. That card is now just sitting in the warehouse, unused due to concerns. This is still original factory repair; do third-party repair services have the corresponding software and hardware testing capabilities? For important equipment, replacement is the safest option, as it eliminates any risk related to safety.
The original manufacturers of these cards are either too incompetent or too skilled, which is why they fail to detect any problems with the cards........ Perhaps it’s your fault – you’re even more incompetent, as you describe the problems with the cards incorrectly...... Or maybe you’re just idiots who can’t make use of good products properly......... :lol I’ve seen a few cases where repair engineers from those foreign countries, when faced with a broken device and errors reported by the user, were unable to identify the problems mentioned by the user; even obvious faults went unnoticed by them.......
Is the factory testing already thorough? The original Boeing 737 – doesn’t it keep crashing, killing so many people? ... The original radar, when installed on-site, acts like a crazy or dead dog…… That broken radar needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair – but can it be fixed properly? It’s possible to fix a few seedlings...
Except for the main chip on which the program is stored, which cannot be repaired, all the peripheral components can have their parts replaced and thus be repaired. What’s difficult about performing debugging and calibration? If they really can’t fix it, then those who repair phones would have starved to death by now. Compared to card modules, mobile phones are much more complex and harder to repair. The card holder is just for serving small dishes. .
The cards used in SIS systems require certain qualification standards from the manufacturers; as the SIL level increases, the required manufacturing qualifications become even stricter. This is specified in relevant lists. If repair is needed, I believe it should only be carried out by the original manufacturer – the reliability of cards repaired at smaller service centers is doubtful, and such cards cannot be used in SIS systems. It’s not a cost-saving measure in this case.
