Today I saw a plan list brought by our instrumentation engineer, and there was an item in it that read: “Single-flange pressure transmitter, domestic brand, DN25RF, HC, 180 degrees, 0-1.6 MPA; 1 unit of domestic manufacture. Note: DN25, HC.” In the original copy, the letters “MPA” were written in uppercase; please ignore that. What we want to discuss is the minimum size of a single-flange pressure transmitter with a capacity of 1.6 MPA and a diameter of DN25. “Under normal circumstances,” does the domestic brand “EJA” offer single-flange transmitters of this size? I hope everyone can share their opinions
This post was last edited by piaopingke on 2017-6-29 at 16:33. The flange is a standard component; our company uses DN25 single-flange pressure transmitters. Seeing DN25, one might think that 25mm is too small, but in fact it’s much larger – the diameter of the flange is around 115mm.

I was wondering, what’s the problem with this?
Is the flange suitable for the specified operating conditions? Where is a DN25 single-flange typically used? Why is the minimum size on some selection samples always DN50?
Single-flange level gauges are generally suitable for storage tanks that are open-top and where pressure variations are minimal. If the pressure fluctuates, it has a significant impact on the liquid level. Choosing a DN25 diameter is only feasible when the medium is non-corrosive and extremely pure; if such a thin tube gets clogged, the level gauge will cease to function. This is also why the diameters of single-flange and double-flange level gauges are relatively large.
DN25 – the technical term for this is an embedded flange. It is available in this size; when pressure measurement is required, it is useful, and it’s also applicable in cases where remote transmission is needed or a flange is used, although its usage is not very widespread! ! ! Because the flange is too small, capillaries can generally reach only about 8 meters in length! Otherwise, the lag will be too severe!
If it’s a single-flange level gauge, remember: under no circumstances choose a diaphragm with a protrusion. Don’t ask me why – talking too much only leads to tears
For single-flange applications in areas where crystallization is likely to occur, if a protruding diaphragm is not used, what should be used instead? Why can’t a convex diaphragm be used?
