Just like with pressure gauges, the zero point is calibrated in the positive pressure area, and then it can be moved to the negative pressure operating area; this is how we have used EJA transmitters.
I have no prior knowledge of Siemens differential pressure gauges. You must check the manual for this table to confirm whether the diaphragm of this transmitter can measure negative pressure! If that’s possible, then calibrating the zero point doesn’t seem very difficult to me.
