May I ask, what is the difference between a float level switch and a float level controller? Can they be swapped?
A float level switch can also be called a float level controller

A float level controller may also include a regulator, with switch outputs for both the upper and lower level limits. Specifically, check the functions of each manufacturer; it’s as stated in their manuals, without any need for extra wording.
