The field phase probe has an installation voltage of 7.5V; the wiring circuit of the preamplifier is properly grounded. When the 24V power supply is disconnected at the field site, the voltage at the field terminal drops to 4V

The first is to disconnect the wires between the card holder and the preamplifier, and then check whether the power supply to the card holder is functioning properly; if it isn’t, then there is a power supply issue. The second is to disconnect the wires between the preamplifier and the card holder, and measure the voltage between the -Vt and Com terminals to see if it’s normal; if it’s not, then it’s a wiring problem at the installation site, while if it is normal, then it’s a fault with the preamplifier.
