Dear experts, I have a thermistor installed in a circulating water system. Due to water entering the temperature sensing module, I replaced it with a new one, but the remote display keeps fluctuating – sometimes it shows normal values, sometimes the temperature is too high and reaches the full scale, and after some time it returns to normal. Now however, there are again significant fluctuations. I checked the thermistor using a multimeter and found no problems, and the current readings are also normal
Could there be moisture in the thermistor as well? Try replacing it with another one.
A new thermistor element has been installed, but the problem persists; I plan to submit a request for an integrated temperature transmitter instead
Try replacing the temperature transmitter; if that doesn’t work, check the safety barrier. Use a multimeter to take measurements when something is not working properly, and also check whether the wiring connections are good – from your description it seems like there might be poor connections.
In our company, when it comes to temperature changes, the current is generated after the coil. In your case, a resistive element is used on-site and then another temperature-sensitive component is connected to it – that’s really problematic! ! For the temperature-sensitive blocks, measurements were taken for a slightly longer period at both ends – was there no issue?
