Help: For the 4211 valve, when the feedback indicates an intermediate opening degree of 12 mA, the actual value is 12.7 mA, which is inaccurate; after 12 mA, the difference is usually around 0.5 mA. (Both the zero point and full stroke are accurate, with a difference of 0.15mA)
For something like this, basically all that’s needed is to calibrate the zero point and the range; of course, this assumes good linearity. If the linearity is poor, it’s usually a problem with the potentiometer
Valve position transmitters give inaccurate feedback; the factory had already pointed out that it’s better to use Siemens’ valve position feedback module.
I haven’t used it; can it be used to verify linearity?
