Talking about this diagram, 1. Is the DI circuit isolated by an optocoupler? With such a DI card, isn’t it unnecessary to use a relay for isolation? 2. How does the query voltage in the circuit work? 3. How do the capacitors and inductors in the circuit function? 4. Can this DO circuit output a passive signal?
DI is opto-isolated; there is no need to measure voltage in the circuit. The capacitor is used to eliminate high-frequency interference signals. That is a resistor, not an inductor, and it serves to limit current flow. DO provides an output voltage of 48V/24V

Is the principle of DCS’s DI the same as that of PLC’s DI?
