How are analyzers generally configured for crude neon-helium and lean krypton-xenon gases? What analyzer should be configured? Those who have used it, please share your experience. Thank you
The analytical monitoring of inert gases generally involves measuring the impurities present in them. The inert gas itself serves as the background component, while the impurities typically include oxygen, nitrogen, moisture, carbon dioxide, trace amounts of light hydrocarbons, etc., as well as the impurities that exist within the inert gas itself. The best method for determining these impurities is gas chromatography; oxygen can be analyzed using an electrochemical analyzer, while moisture can be measured with a dedicated moisture analyzer (or dew point meter).
