How to determine the rate of change in the DCS program of the central control system? How can temperature be controlled using the rate of temperature change and the duration of periods when this rate is too high?
Variable A, variable B, process variable C, instantaneous rate of change variable D – a cyclic sampling time T is determined using a timer or other methods. Each time it triggers on schedule, the value of variable A is assigned to variable B, the value of process variable C is assigned to A, and D = (A – B) / T
Could you elaborate on the control requirements? Control the valve so that the temperature doesn’t change too quickly? What’s the use of a duration with an excessively fast rate of change? How to move?
