Friends, here’s the latest update: starting today, the Emerson 475 handheld controller will become a product that is about to be discontinued. Starting in October 2018, Emerson will no longer accept new 475 orders, and system upgrades and repairs will cease in October 2020. In other words, after October 2018, the 475 will no longer be sold, but it can still be repaired and upgraded. By October 2020, everything related to 475 will come to an end. A new product similar to a tablet will be launched soon, with more powerful features and clearer display, while the price remains roughly the same. The new product is called AMS Trex

The price change is not significant------Is it a change of yuan? Is it a change of 100 yuan? Or a change of 1,000 yuan? (It refers to the RMB.)
The maximum price difference is likely to be 15%, with the exact price unknown
My instrument technician is about to start his tireless learning again!
Can’t it be directly integrated with Chinese? One more language?
The production and development of this product take place abroad; China is not involved in it. I guess foreigners are not very smart – when it comes to translating certain technical terms, only those who work in the instrumentation field can understand them, or assistance from service engineers based in China is required. If it’s just a literal translation, it won’t be presentable
This kind of thing; If someone has created software similar to a computer, it shouldn’t be difficult to integrate a Chinese patch
I’ve checked the relevant information; the menus for the various instruments displayed by the 475 unit are created by the instrument manufacturers, who submit device information files to the 475 manufacturer, who then integrates this information into the 475 unit. Therefore, there is a 1GB memory card in the 475 unit that stores this information. If an instrument supports Hart communication but the manufacturer fails to submit the necessary files to the 475 manufacturer, or if such device information files are not available in the 475 unit, then communication will take place in generic mode. As for whether Chinese language support is available, that depends on the instrument manufacturer. The interface of the 475 controller does have Chinese language support; we have one such unit here. However, if the instrument doesn’t have Chinese-language device information, the displayed text will still be in English
