Can two level gauges be installed on the liquid ammonia storage tank – one remote-type double-flange gauge and one local magnetic flap gauge – by using the same opening?
The one upstairs is more standardized; I don’t think there’s much point in having an opening there. What if it fails to function? That would be frustrating!
It is mainly necessary to determine what category of medium liquid ammonia belongs to, and whether the liquid level control is integrated into the SIS; if interlocks are in place, it is not possible to use just one sensor
It’s not possible; the same interface is used, and if that interface gets blocked, it will cause both level gauges to stop functioning. This should be called common cause failure
