Originally, the regulations required special pressure gauges for hydrogen-based media, but this requirement was removed in a later revision. So here’s the question: under the current operating conditions, where the medium is hydrogen plus steam, with a temperature of 120°C for hydrogen and 280°C for steam, and a pressure of 1.2 MPa, should a regular stainless steel pressure gauge with a condensation ring be used, or a pressure gauge that is oil- and grease-free?
It is safer to choose a pressure gauge with oil-proof and degreasing features.
Hehe. . . Our factory has hydrogen production facilities, hydrogen filling capabilities, and a pressure gauge calibration room. The pressure gauge on site is broken; it is simply removed and sent to the calibration room, where it is calibrated using a hydraulic pump, before being installed back in place. It’s better now; if it breaks, just throw it in the trash and get another pressure gauge from the warehouse to install instead. The connector cover below the pressure gauge still has oil leaking from it. .
Use a pressure gauge designed for oil-free degreasing.

Taking off your pants to pass gas – safety is of utmost importance. If you don’t take off your pants to do this, pressure will build up in that area, and that pressure could even burst your testicles~~~ Moreover, bad gas can contaminate your water sources, right? :lol
