The on/off valve for high-pressure backwashing of the filter opens during backwashing; is there a type of shut-off valve that can achieve the following operating conditions? Gas supply: 12 MPa → 11 MPa inside the filter; a shut-off valve is installed in between. Is it possible to have the shut-off valve of the filter move from fully closed to fully open within 2 seconds?
I’m not sure what the diameter is, but generally there should be no problem. Many on-off valves have a specified time for completing their full stroke of movement, and the manufacturer will supply different accessories and gas circuits as required to meet your specified timing requirements
The actuator control of this valve is not the issue; the key lies in the valve body. The pressure difference needs to be taken into account.
With a pipe diameter of DN100, the valves I bought previously took 10 seconds to move from fully closed to fully open, which is too long; after all, only 1 second of force is needed for backwashing
I asked the technician before, and they said that for a pneumatic valve under this pressure, this is the fastest speed possible
The main thing to pay attention to is also what the pipe diameter is? Should it be full bore or reduced bore?
To increase the speed, first, the instrument air pressure must be raised, and second, larger-diameter instrument pipes and switching valves are required.
