Both the Yokogawa and Rosemount transmitters have 4 screw tensioning clamps. What is the torque required to tighten these screws? Are there any figures available for this?
What is a clamp plate? Rosemount’s ones use coplanar flanges, and the torque depends on the material of the bolts. Stainless steel is 300 inch-pounds at the end, while carbon steel is 650 inch-pounds at the end

Besides, the sensors you use can’t be some cheap, low-quality ones, right? So why bother restricting the value of their wrenches? There’s no need to learn from them how to use wrenches – such a trivial thing. They used torque wrenches to assemble the sensor clamps; from what I can see, it’s either a stupid or poor solution, or else they’re just trying to create an illusion, to act mysterious. For example, you could design the sensor to be mounted in a suspended manner, thereby eliminating any assembly stresses!
