For measuring the internal temperature of the glass-lined reaction vessels in my company, which are equipped with glass-lined thermometer sleeves, is it necessary to fill the sleeves with heat transfer oil when installing thermoresistors?
If no irrigation is done, the temperature difference will be significant, and it may not be a linear deviation – there is no pattern to follow
What grade of heat transfer oil is required?

I took a look at the HG-T 2058.1 glass-lined temperature sensor sleeve; its front end appears to be made of corrosion-resistant metal. The temperature-sensing element is of the end-face type, so it should be able to measure temperature accurately. However, the standards were collected a few years ago; it’s not clear if there have been any changes.
The entire thermometer sleeve we use is made of glass-lined material, not the corrosion-resistant metal you mentioned. There was a significant temperature difference before heating the heat transfer oil, around 10 degrees or so
Thanks for the advice! It seems that different medium conditions require different selection criteria and structures.
Heat transfer oil should be used, but there will still be a certain temperature difference.
The thermal conductivity of glass-lined steel is somewhat lower.
Heat transfer oil must definitely be used, and the amount of such oil should be as low as possible while still meeting the requirements; otherwise, there will be severe delays in temperature rise.
