Are there any particular rules regarding the colors of the connections in the CENTUM 3000\VP configuration diagram?

In the properties of the line, you can choose between automatic and manual mode for the line. In automatic mode, the line is the purple one that we use commonly, while in manual mode it is the light blue line. Having maintained the Yokogawa DCS for several years, I have never used the light blue wire at all. Today I thought of this question again, so I posted online to ask about the difference between automatic and manual wiring – that is, between the purple and blue wires
There’s no difference; sometimes, when there are too many function blocks in the control drawing, the automatic wiring doesn’t look good, while manual methods allow multiple points to be connected.
What does it mean to manually locate multiple points for connection? Does it mean that the connection lines can branch off to connect to other functional blocks? I’ve tried automatic wiring as well, and it can still branch off.
