I would like to ask what the function of this pneumatic control valve is? Is it done by using a solenoid valve to control the larger one with the smaller one? And is that one on top the relief valve? One line leads to the steam source, and then to the solenoid valve; why is another line connected to the pipeline behind the pressure regulator? By the way, I’d like to ask for the pneumatic circuit diagram of this air control valve

This post was last edited by LL(long) on 2018-1-16 at 11:17. From the diagram, there are no coils at all – so how can it be a solenoid valve? One image is not enough; you should take pictures from different angles, as well as of the pipelines behind, in order to be able to analyze them properly

Well, it’s not possible to tell from this image, but one suggestion is as follows: First of all, the pneumatic control valve is definitely designed to allow small amounts of air to pass while allowing larger amounts to flow through – that’s its purpose; Secondly, the thicker air path in this pipeline is definitely the main air path, which serves as the power source, while the thinner air path is the control air path, responsible for controlling the status of various components in the system. Finally, in my humble opinion, I can see that there is a gas cut-off protection in your gas circuit……
I really can’t make any sense of this image at all… Someone on floor 7 said that metal object is a pressure relief valve, but I really can’t tell… Taking pictures from different angles might help in analyzing it……
