I have worked at an oil exhaust treatment facility for many years. This facility lacks expertise in terms of instrumentation, so I am willing to dedicate myself to learning about such instruments over the long term. However, without proper guidance, and as I am not from this field, I cannot learn effectively; I only know some basic things related to mechanics, and I am completely inexperienced in many areas. 1. When dealing with work-related tasks, there’s no need to blindly read books or do exercises. Even if you do 10,000 exercises, only 1% of them will be useful – that’s a waste of resources and it’ll strain your mind; even monkeys would laugh at you {:2_32:}.
2. In your factory, there are those instruments that you want to learn about. Make a list of their models and post it; then, fellow enthusiasts will naturally guide you on how to learn how to use them. That’s targeted approach and efficient use of time.
3. For the most basic aspects of instruments, read some textbooks on industrial automation instruments or chemical process automation instruments – just pick any textbook
