The bottom of Tower 220 for acrylic refining is equipped with a double-flange level gauge; negative pressure is applied during operation. The valve at the base of the lower flange tends to get clogged, resulting in inaccurate measurements. Crystallization occurs when the temperature of the medium is low, and it’s difficult to provide heating for this valve; on the other hand, the material polymerizes when the temperature is too high. It’s a real dilemma. Are there any good solutions that can be used without stopping?
For temporary emergency use, heating should still be taken into consideration. If it is not convenient to provide heating for copper or stainless steel pipes, other types of hoses can be used first, as they are easier to wrap around the pipes (such as plastic hoses, oxygen hoses, or fluoropolymer hoses). To resolve the issue completely, jacketed valves with built-in heating could be employed. I’m not in the acrylic business, so I’m not familiar with the acrylic production process; maybe what I say is incorrect, please don’t take it personally

Why not consider putting it in an insulated box?
I’m not very familiar with your manufacturing processes; if the steam heating is too hot and causes problems, you might consider using electric heating as an alternative. Why wasn’t the plug-in type considered during the initial selection?
In the future, parking will be changed to plug-in type, and the root valve will no longer be needed. What is the negative pressure under operating conditions? If the negative pressure is too high, double flanges cannot be used effectively.
Why are double flanges used in negative pressure environments? The diaphragm box can’t handle it
As long as the negative pressure isn’t too severe, double flange connections can be used; we’ve had them in use for ten years before they broke
What are the temperatures for crystallization and fusion respectively? Using light heat tracing should be no problem, right?
