In January 2025, SINOMACH Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chongqing, aiming for the group to establish an instrumentation business in Chongqing and take control of Chuanyi Co., Ltd. On April 1, the Sinomach Instrumentation Group was established, and subsequently, various industry-related units within the Sinomach Group were transferred to this new group. Through this integration, Chuanyi Co., Ltd., which boasts 60 years of technical expertise and a complete industrial chain infrastructure, and SINOMACH Group, which has advantages in research platforms, industrial resources, and market channels, will complement each other. This will enable the establishment of a comprehensive R&D and manufacturing system covering \"high-performance materials, advanced sensors and components, high-end instruments and meters, as well as intelligent control systems and solutions\". It will also create a holistic advantage based on the combination of technology, industry, and services, laying the foundation for building a large-scale, diversified instrument and meter manufacturing enterprise in China with strong system integration capabilities, thereby ensuring self-sufficiency in the production of key equipment. It is reported that Sinomach Instrument & Meter Group currently possesses multiple innovation platforms at the **level, such as the Engineering Research Center for Instrument Function Materials and the Engineering Research Center for Sensors; 2 postdoctoral research stations in the field of instruments and meters; as well as 8 key laboratories at the provincial and ministerial level, including the Laboratory for Electromagnetic Holographic Sensor Technology. At the event, Sinomach Instrument Group signed strategic cooperation agreements with municipal state-owned enterprises such as Chongqing Water Environment Group and Chongqing Transportation Development Investment Group. It also concluded the first batch of channel cooperation agreements with JD Industrial and Sumida Technology & Trade. The group strengthened its collaboration with Academician Qian Feng’s team from East China University of Science and Technology in areas such as industrial intelligent operating systems, industrial intelligent models and algorithms, and edge intelligence hardware.
