I would like to ask the experienced colleagues how to choose an air flow meter? Main issue: One of our products requires compressed air, with a pressure range of 0.3–0.6 MPa and an air consumption range of 50–450 L/min. I need to choose a flow metering device that can accurately measure gas consumption. I’m not familiar with such products; it seems there are many different types of flow meters available online, and I’m not sure how to pick the right one. Integrated orifice plate flowmeters (with pressure compensation), vortex flowmeters (with pressure compensation), and thermal mass flowmeters can all be considered.
It’s better to be accurate, as many such products need to be installed in engineering projects, and it’s important to have an exact figure for the total gas consumption – after all, this affects the selection of air compressors.
