The pressure transmitter only has DC 4-20ma, with no maximum range. The displayed percentage is 46. Excuse me, experts – what is its pressure value, and how is it calculated? Thank you
It is impossible to calculate the range without knowing it, but an approximate estimate can be made by referring to the pressure reading on the local pressure gauge at the same time.
How can a pressure transmitter have no range?
The meter you use should be one that supports the HART protocol or other protocols, and be able to switch between different display modes on the LCD screen. It’s possible to display the actual measured value; there is no pressure transmitter that shows only percentages without displaying the actual measured value.
You can change the display mode using a handheld controller, and there is definitely a nameplate on the transmitter housing.
