After a thunderstorm, the valve positioner stopped working! Are the internal electronic components too fragile? Everything that’s been replaced with imported parts has problems, but those replaced with imported parts don’t have any issues!
Domestic products have issues; imported products are fine
Three sets of valves with the same setup – the positioners were experiencing fluttering at a certain position. The positioners were adjusted several times, but the problem persisted. After being in use for some time, the issue disappeared; the reason remains unknown
You can try operating it manually; it could also be a process issue, with a large pressure difference before and after.
Once I was repairing a locator, a Koso model; while working on it I started to pant because of the loud abnormal noises. After checking carefully, I found that a screw inside the locator was loose!
Manual control is also available; even when the manufacturer comes to make adjustments, it doesn’t work – it’s likely because the frequency matches that of the fluid itself, but everything functions normally after operating for some time
