First, restart the configuration software. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, connect an external thermocouple to see whether the display functions normally; this will help determine where the problem lies.
This can be tested; if there is voltage, the temperature can be calculated based on that voltage. It’s possible that the wire is broken, and it’s also possible that the temperature compensation mechanism or the transmission module is damaged
Just measure it on-site using a multimeter and you’ll know
