The identification of these potential hazards on-site is really accurate! With the lead ports facing upward, this is indeed a common oversight in outdoor instruments: firstly, rain and dust can easily penetrate into the junction box through the leads, which can cause oxidation and short circuits in the connections; in severe cases, it may lead to instrument failures or even electrical leakage, which is exactly what the regulations require. To address this issue, simply adjust the inlet to point downward or slightly downward, ensure proper sealing, and conduct regular checks on the sealing condition of the junction box; this will help prevent such problems.
