Dear sea friends, how do you determine the accuracy grade when selecting measuring instruments? Let’s discuss it.
General rules for allowable positive and negative deviations in process parameters and for the installation of energy metering instruments
The requirements for the process engineering major don’t mention positive and negative deviations, right?
The accuracy of the current measuring instruments meets the process requirements without any issues. It’s not for measurement purposes; simply choose a mainstream meter available on the market at present.

Within the five major categories of instruments (flow, pressure, liquid level, temperature), one can determine the accuracy level for instrument selection based on respective experience
In that case, isn’t it a bit of following the crowd? Although most of them can meet the technical requirements, excessive accuracy of the instruments does result in certain cost losses
