To measure steam flow, two condensation tanks are required; water accumulates in these tanks (above the inlet level), and steam flows into the tanks through pressure guide tubes. Bubbles form inside the tanks at this point – will the instrument give accurate readings? Does this situation I described actually occur? There’s another question: should the condensation tank be installed horizontally or vertically, with fluid entering from the top and exiting from the bottom? I think either option is fine; I’d like to hear the suggestions of those who are more experienced. The direction shown in the diagram isn’t the installation direction
Follow the supplier’s instructions to determine which is the import and which is the export.
Is the condensation tank making gurgling noises again? Haven’t seen it. It should be silent.
There can be no bubbling sounds in the condensation tank. Could you please provide more detailed instructions for installing the condensation tank? Thank you
Bubbles inside the condenser tube can affect the measurements, but they are very small and can be ignored. The condensation tank is installed horizontally, and it has a large liquid surface area. When the positive and negative pressure transfer pipes are not installed perfectly horizontally (that is, when they are not at the same level), the difference in water column height is small, resulting in relatively minor measurement errors.
