In a PT100 three-wire setup, one of the wires is the ground wire; this wire is connected to one of the other two wires, meaning it can be used as if it were two wires. The three-wire configuration is used to reduce interference. Use a multimeter to check: two of the three wires are conductive, while there is a resistance of around 100 ohms between that non-conductive wire and the two conductive ones. Connect the non-conductive wire to 125, and connect the other two wires arbitrarily to + and –-
I just want to ask how to connect the three wires of the PT100 to this safety barrier; in the diagrams, there are terminals 2, 3, and 4 – which wire corresponds to each of them? Or A.B.c
