Electrical contact thermometer?

What is the difference between the resistance of a bimetallic thermometer and its electrical contacts? The part in the red circle. Thank you! Both have wires connected, while the other has only one wire connected.
Isn’t this the same as an electric contact pressure gauge? The electrical contact is the contact mechanism located at the pointer area; what’s different is that there is a thermistor at the end of the probe, and this thermistor serves to transmit signals over long distances.

All of ours have terminal connections on the side of the case; isn’t there any marking like that? It seems that the electrical contact is used to obtain the on/off signal from the pointer contact part, while the resistor is used to get the resistance value in order to display the temperature inside.
Resistance is a resistance signal, while the electrical contact is a digital signal; these represent two types of remote transmission
