The Mean Well power supply New Well NES-200-24 in the cabinet suddenly lost its 24V output during a thunderstorm. 220V is always present when inputted. So, a new power supply was installed. It's a good idea to take the faulty module back for inspection of the fuse; it also functions normally after being powered on. I wonder if anyone has encountered such a situation

Many electronic components have the ability to repair themselves after suffering an instantaneous overvoltage breakdown, so no fault can be detected afterward. Power supplies that have experienced this will be more prone to problems when faced with surges in the future. Therefore, if it is not due to automatic power protection activation, this power supply should preferably not be used in production equipment anymore.
