Deformation of the pressure transmitter diaphragm

I would like to ask: what are the consequences of deformation of the diaphragm in a pressure transmitter? What are the conditions when there is silicone oil leakage and when there is no leakage?
1. Silicone oil will leak only when the diaphragm ruptures; once there is a leak, it means the sensor is damaged. 2. If the diaphragm is damaged or deformed, various consequences can arise – sometimes the sensor becomes unusable, sometimes its performance deteriorates with large drifts, and sometimes it develops a fixed zero offset...........
If the diaphragm has no elasticity, it cannot transmit pressure properly
Deformation doesn’t have a significant impact; it only causes inaccuracies in measurements. Leakage can be a problem if the process medium is of high purity, as it may even lead to contamination
