Recently, I reviewed the configuration of our company’s CS3000 system and found that many of the sequential parking threshold values referenced high-high and low-low alarm levels; however, the operators in the control room were able to modify these alarm values by adjusting the display settings. Is this configuration standard?

This is definitely not standard. However, Yokogawa’s DCS security strategy also has problems; it’s a bit ridiculous.
Siemens can grant permissions; once permissions are given, changes can be made, but without them no changes are possible.
