Hello everyone. Regarding the relationship between high reported values, extremely high reported values, and interlock values for process parameters: can an uninterlocked process parameter have an extremely high reported value set? For parameters with interlock functions, must the high-high alarm value be consistent with the interlock value? Are there corresponding standard requirements for setting high values, extremely high values, and interlock values? I hope experts can offer more guidance!

Alarms have no direct relationship with interlocks. In a DCS system, alarms are an option that can be selected during the configuration of the points; if alarms are chosen, they will be triggered, including specifying the alarm level. Interlocks, on the other hand, require logical judgment – for example, if you set the alarm threshold at 500 and want an interlock to be triggered at 600, then this parameter value is compared with 600, and an interlock action is initiated once it exceeds 600
