Differences in instrument signal wires

Hello everyone, I have a question. For instrument signal wires, computer cables of the 4-20mA type are generally used. What is the difference between these and control cables? When submitting a plan, how should hard wires and soft wires be distinguished in terms of specifications and models? In the instrumentation industry, flexible wires are commonly used; a flexible wire consists of multiple strands, while a rigid wire has just one strand. In instrumentation applications, connectors are attached to both ends of the flexible wires. In some projects, KVVP is used instead of DJYVP, and there isn’t much difference in performance between them. However, KVVP is cheaper, as it lacks one layer of outer insulation

Soft wire refers to multi-strand wire; the letter R is added to its model. For example, KVVRP is a soft wire, KVVP is a hard wire, DJYVRP is a soft wire, and DJYVP is a hard wire.
