What checks and adjustments should be carried out on a control valve before it is put into use?
Manually test the valve position to check whether the valve operates properly; without fluid, it is not possible to use automatic PID testing or to conduct a water test
When I started working, my supervisor asked me to adjust the valve’s travel, check whether it opened and closed properly, examine the electrical and mechanical limits, as well as the zero point and range, as well as the difference between forward and reverse travel.
