Why does the temperature of an integrated temperature transmitter of the Rosemount bus type fluctuate? It fluctuates from the normal value to one certain value, then back to the normal value, and then back to that value again – several times a day.
First, check whether it’s a sensor issue or a temperature change issue
Try a different thermistor; temperature changes are usually not a big issue. Check if there are any problems with the wiring
In May of this year, I replaced the thermostat, and things improved after that. But problems have arisen again recently; I’m worried it might be a problem with the choice of thermostat, but after checking, there’s no issue.
Okay, thank you. I plan to check these aspects as well during this inspection.
You should ask about the operation of the process
Temperature variation is a factor that plays a role here; what’s the issue with the selection? It can only be said that the quality of temperature control in your system is poor
That’s right; he’s correct. First, determine whether it’s a problem with the temperature gauge itself, then check if it’s a sensor issue. After that, assess whether there’s interference at play, and finally, only process-related problems remain
Focus on eliminating interference issues and verify the shielding effectiveness of the cables
Looking at the trend chart, the temperature dropped suddenly; it’s likely not a process-related issue. Normally, there should be a downward trend in temperature.
