There was a fault with the company’s DCS system: one of the slave units would sometimes stop working. Since it was Friday afternoon, no one paid attention to it; as a result, the unit stopped working several times on Saturday and Sunday. The electrician on duty was unable to fix the problem within those two days, and the management was also at a loss. I went to investigate the cause of the fault as soon as I started work on Monday, and I managed to fix it by afternoon – the issue was caused by a loose screw in the 24V power supply of the DCS system. As a result, the next day that idiot boss scolded me, saying why didn’t I assign someone to tighten the screws. For heaven’s sake, there are tens of thousands of screws on all the electrical and instrumentation equipment in the factory! How am I supposed to get tight! Such a weird boss – don’t you think I’m being treated unfairly?
It’s really pitiful to end up with such a leader; they always find faults in everything. Anyway, it’s most important to do your best.

After tightening the loose screws, don’t make a fuss about it; it’s better if you pretend everything is fine once the DCS is working properly.
With just one order from the leader, others work themselves to the bone without him having to do anything himself.
