How to force the Yokogawa CSVP DI signal on the DCS?

Even I can’t do something this simple from Yokogawa; please give me some advice!
It seems that DI can’t be forced; one can only use a soft switch to override it
This usually needs to be achieved through the SIO switch function block
Honeywell’s products can be forced to do that – is Yokogawa that far behind?
Forcing is a double-edged sword; it causes false values to appear, and the fear is that they will be forgotten later.
It’s a matter of different concepts, not whether something is backward or not. After collecting DI channel signals through blocks such as SI/SIO/MC, the desired outcome can be achieved by using the signals from these functional blocks; it’s not true that forcing something to happen only through direct intervention on the channels is the only way to do so
