Does the pressure gauge on the valve positioner need to be inspected? Looking for relevant specifications? If quality inspection is required, what is the cycle time?
Generally, pressure gauges should be checked every 6 months; if they appear to be damaged, they need to be replaced immediately
The pressure gauge on the locator does not require regular inspection. It's sufficient to have a certificate of conformity at the time of purchase. It’s a low-value consumable item; replace it if it breaks or doesn’t seem to be working properly.
I heard for the first time that this needs to be checked; when we calibrated the pressure gauges at my factory, we didn’t check this
Here’s the perfect answer: Check if you need to, and if not, don’t check. If you’re not sure whether you need it or not, it’s up to you to decide whether to check or not. :P
