What does the instrument symbol for the electric heater of a compressor mean? TS and TC – could some expert please take a look? Also, what does all of that above mean?
Is there no legend to explain it? Taken literally, and considering your diagram, TS must be a temperature switch ； The only thing TC can think of is a thermocouple, but it doesn’t fit the meaning shown in the diagram
It is recommended to refer to the accompanying diagrams; in typical PID systems, the codes TC and TS are used to indicate temperature control and temperature interlock
TC: Temperature Control – Temperature control. TS: Temperature Switch – Temperature switch. Compressor oil heater
TC: Temperature control – it’s essentially a temperature switch, with an adjustable set temperature. If set at 40°C, it generally turns on at 38°C and turns off at 42°C. TS: Temperature switch; the set temperature cannot be adjusted. It has a high-temperature protection function that cuts off power when the set temperature is reached, and manual reset is required.
