The company has newly purchased a batch of control valves. During the incoming inspection, it was found that the protection rating (IP**) was missing from the label on the actuator, although such a rating is specified in the data sheet. Question: 1. Is the valve acceptable? 2. If it cannot be accepted, what is the legal basis for labeling it on the equipment?
