I would like to ask everyone: According to the standard GB5008-2014, a certain area is classified as Zone 22 for explosive dusts in the field of process engineering. First, let’s clarify a concept: explosion protection for explosive dust is different from explosion protection for explosive gases. “Zone 22: An explosive atmosphere in the form of combustible dust clouds in the air; it cannot occur under normal operating conditions, and if it does appear, it exists only for a short period of time. ” In this area, instruments such as transmitters, electric contact pressure gauges, electric ball valves, and infrared temperature detectors are used; in accordance with the requirements of GBT3836.15-2017, instruments in this area should be those that have tD certification. But many instruments other than transmitters do not have this certification. What should be done? Have any colleagues encountered this issue? How to select a model that meets the experts’ high standards? Thank you
