At present, the liquid separation tank and water seal tank for the emission flare need to be replaced. The medium discharged is mainly waste gas from safety valves, along with liquefied petroleum gas; I would like to ask experts how to calculate the density of this medium in order to determine the appropriate type of level gauge
If possible, you can take a sample from the separation tank to conduct a density test; the density is likely to be low. Since your waste gas is liquefied petroleum gas, the resulting density will not differ much. The water seal tank serves as a level indicator – there is water at the bottom, so its density is obvious, while the density of the liquid on top is slightly lower; you can estimate it yourself
