There is a pressure transmitter on site; its signal goes to the safety controller. The safety controller is of the 1-input, 2-output type – one output leads to the DCS, and the other leads to an analog display. The original analog display was damaged, so a new one has been installed. Could everyone please help figure out how to connect the new analog display?
If it won’t work, just give up; not everyone can do everything. If you make a mistake, it will result in heavy losses and you’ll face consequences. One must tell the truth. Here, someone is telling you how to do it – can you believe that? This is not a valve operation related to the manufacturing process; there might be a delay time, but once such electrical equipment is powered on, there’s no way to delay it! One must never ruin the work just to show off temporarily. It's fine to learn the principles here; the methods work. One must understand for oneself the ways in which others can help you. Kind advice, for your reference.
The wiring diagram and tables in the manual you sent do not match. I think I should follow the markings on the table and connect the signal to the corresponding terminal.
If a current is generated by the safety barrier, short-circuit it
The power supply for the digital display needs to be separate; the signals should be connected to pins 4 and 3. Try using active or passive signals from the safety gate. The wiring shown in the picture you sent seems correct; just adjust the signal coming from the safety gate and give passive signals a try
It depends on what signal you are measuring and whether power distribution is required; only then can the wiring method for the digital display be determined.
Terminal 123 is connected to a thermistor (123) or a thermocouple (23) for temperature measurement. 4 3 Input of current and voltage. 5 provides 24v. 67 refers to the output current or voltage; this needs to be set internally, whether it should be 4-20mA or 0-5V, etc. 8, 9, 10 are for alarm output, while 1, 1, 12 are for power supply. For the 11 and 12 units you need, connect them to the power supply; the output from the safety gate should be connected to terminals 3 and 4, with 4 being positive and 3 negative. The digital display requires an internal setting such that the input on terminal 4 is 4-20mA. You can refrain from connecting the output of the safety barrier to the DCS for now; try connecting it to a digital display instead. Actually, it’s fine to connect it to the DCS as well.
Terms 3 and 4 don’t need to be considered. Safety barriers with one input and two outputs are usually powered by the safety barrier itself; therefore, for yours you only need to connect terms 3 and 4 to receive the 4-20mA signal. You then need to set the signal type, range, unit, etc. in the digital display
