Experts: I have a question: Can plastic pipes be used for the air supply lines of pneumatic valves in Class A workshops? Originally, copper pipes and stainless steel pipes were used; later, experts suggested that plastic pipes should not be used for the air supply pipelines of automatic valves in Class A workshops. Here, for the acceptance review of Class A workshops, experts require that all piping be made of stainless steel. The copper pipes used originally were said to not have sufficient strength, let alone plastic pipes.
We previously used plastic air supply pipes, but experts suggested replacing them with copper or stainless steel pipes. Copper pipes are being used at the moment, but there is a problem: their corrosion resistance is relatively low, and cases of copper pipes corroding and getting damaged have occurred. Stainless steel air supply pipes might be better, as they also have strength. We will use stainless steel pipes for all aspects of our future projects.
