Can the dual UPS power supplies in the instrument cabinet room be combined at the point where the UPS outputs are located?
No, both UPS units output alternating current, and the initial phase and amplitude of this alternating current differ, so it is not possible to connect them in parallel. An AC contactor or switching device should be added.
The UPS units should be connected in parallel, and it’s advisable to install circuit breakers for easier maintenance
Then just get one UPS; why buy two?
This post was last edited by leit on 2019-3-26 09:51. The three elements of alternating current are amplitude, frequency, and phase. All requirements must be met in order to connect to the grid. The phase shown in the diagram definitely does not meet the requirements; a dual-power supply switching device must be added.
There must be a problem with doing this; electrical workers are not allowed to scold you. . Two single-phase power supplies generally require a switching device

Technically, it cannot be connected in parallel. I’m not quite sure if there are any relevant national standards
It seems it’s possible to do that; I just used Inovance’s product, and the manual mentions parallel operation, but a bypass function is required for that. I’ll go back to the company and help you look for it
