Standards used by foreign chemical companies

I would like to ask: Do foreign-owned chemical companies in China, such as ExxonMobil and Shell, follow domestic standards or international standards?
Domestic drivers, drive on the left.** Should he drive on the right, just like in his home country? Should I still follow the local rule of driving on the left?
