The cabinet room designed by the Light Industry Design Institute contains electrical cabinets that house transformers, switchgear, frequency converters, etc. Within the same cabinet room there are various panels as well as Honeywell DCS cabinets. After several additional pumps and frequency converters were installed as part of technical upgrades, the pumps started to shut down frequently; even after the start signals for the pumps were activated, they continued to shut down from time to time. In the cable trench, the power cables and instrument control cables are laid together in an interwoven manner and cannot be separated. Do you all have any good ways to solve this?

Restore the condition prior to the technical upgrade. Don’t fix your gaze on this mess of cables. Because you don’t make technical improvements, all of these are good. Because of your technical upgrades, it’s suspected that these are not good, but this doesn’t seem logical. If there are problems with this part, they are nothing but grounding issues, short circuits, open circuits, or interference. If there are problems with these, there will be issues with the funds for technical upgrades. So, there are still issues with your technical upgrades.

Putting the problems aside, just looking at the situation on site, the drawings provided by the design institute and the quality of work done by the construction team are also extremely poor
Ensure proper grounding; separate the instruments from the electrical components. They should be connected together as well. The main purpose is to prevent interference through grounding, as the frequency converter is the biggest source of interference
